8 killed as bus plunges into ravine

PINDI BHATIAN—8 people were killed while more than 30 were wounded when bus-carrying passengers fell into a deep ravine at Pindi Bhatian Interchange on Sunday.
As per details, a bus bearing no (Peshawar EI-8640) left Rawalpindi and on its way to Faisalabad fell into a deep ravine at Pindi Bhatian interchange leaving 8 people including 3 of same family dead while more than 30 injured. A girl Rani is still missing. Pindi Bhatian Police and Motorway Police have reached on the spot and pulled out the injured and dead by cutting Parts of the bus. The injured were shifted to Tehsil headquarters hospital Pindi Bhatian where 4 are said to be in critical condition. Driver Hafiz-ur-Rehman, Rao Fahim, Sonia, Zaib and Rafaqat were among the identified deceased.—Agencies
