Police arrest seven criminals

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Police have arrested seven alleged criminals involved in various crimes and recovered looted valuables from their possession. According to details, on the special directives SSP Syed Kalim Imam, Islamabad Police have tightened noose around criminals to provide safe environment to citizen. Meanwhile SSP has also given punishment to 10 policemen on charges of poor performance, violation of discipline and absence from duty. Those awarded punishment include Sub-Inspector Muhammad Aslam, Assisstant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz, Head Constable Muhammad Munir, Constable Babar Hussain, Zulfiqar, Muhammad Wasim, Liqat, Imtiaz, Yasir Shah and Nasar Khan.—Online
