PML-Q, PPP (S) agree on seat adjustment

PESHAWAR—Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao) and Pakistan Muslim League (Q) have reached on understanding on seat adjustment in district Swabi. The seat adjustment had been finalized on NA-13 Swabi, PF-34, PF-35 and PF-36 Swabi, says PPP(S) press release issued here Sunday. As per the adjustment formula reached between the two parties, PML (Q) will withdraw its candidates from NA-13 and PF-34 in favour of PPP (S) nominees. Similarly, PPP (S) would withdraw its candidates on PF-35 and PF-36 in favour of PML (Q) candidates. The supporters of both the parties would support each other candidates in the general election in Swabi. It may be mentioned that the seats adjustment had been made between the two parties following the meeting held between PML (Q) and PPP(S) leaders, Amir Auqam and Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao.—Agencies
