Chinese envoy calls on CJP

ISLAMABAD—Ambassador of China to Pakistan His Excellency Mr. LUO DHAU HUI called on Hon'ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Abdul Hameed Dogar at his chamber in Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Chinese Ambassador conveyed his good wishes to the Chief Justice of Pakistan on assuming the highest judicial office of the country.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Chinese Ambassador remained together for some time and shared their views on issues of mutual understanding and common interest. Chief Justice of Pakistan hoped the Pak-China friendship will continue to flourish and said that the close cooperation and exchange of information and knowledge between the judiciaries of the two countries should also expand further.
HCJP requested Chinese Ambassador to convey his good wishes and greetings to his counterpart in Peoples Republic of China, the President of the Supreme Peoples Court of China.
Mr. LUO DHAU HUI also expressed his firm desire for further strengthening of the ties between the two countries.
Attorney General for Pakistan Malik Muhammad Qayyum was also present at the occasion.
