Sources said that the meeting that lasted more than 1 hour was arranged by Foreign Ministry on the request of Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Al Awadh Asseri. During the meeting, the deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the steps taken by President Musharraf on November 03 including his house arrest have no legal backing. He said he and his family members are facing enormous difficulties due to house arrest while the Government has a stance that they are free to move.
