CIA Police arrest three criminals

LAHORE—CIA police city Division have arrested three criminals involved in selling illicit arms from Raiwind area and seized a heavy cache of such arms as well as cell phones and other items from them. The accused were selling illegal weapons on the pretext of weapon repairing. According to details, a vigorous campaign is in full swing in provincial metropolis against illicit arms on the direction of Capital City Police Officer, Additional IG Malik Muhammad Iqbal. DIG Investigation Tassaduq Hussain constituted a special team headed by SP CIA Ch. Masood Aziz comprising DSP CIA City Division collected data about the said accused involved in smuggling of illegal weapons from Peshawar and trible area and selling them not only in Lahore but also in other districts of the province. The police team in first phase raided Hassan Brothers ammunition dealer on Manga Road Raiwind City and arrested its owner namely Fazal ul Rehman and seized three pistols and bullets from him and got registered a case against him in police station Raiwind.—Agencies
