Mild Earthquake jolts South Punjab, Balochistan

PESHAWAR—Mild earthquake tremors were felt in the areas of Southern Punjab and North Eastern Balochistan on Wednesday. The tremors were recorded at intensity of 4.7 on the Richter scale. According to the meteorological department in Peshawar the earthquake tremors were felt on Wednesday morning at 8.15 am and its epicenter was the border area of Punjab and Balochistan some 450 km away from south of Peshawar. No loss of life or property was reported.—Online
