Corps Commander visits live firing exercise

RAWALPINDI—Corps Commander Mangla Lieutenant General Sajjad Akram on Monday visited Field Firing Ranges Tilla near Jhelum and witnessed live firing exercise and battle inoculation. During the exercise the troops displayed their skills by successfully engaging all types of targets. According to a press release of ISPR, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Sajjad Akram while talking to the troops engaged in the battle inoculation exercise, emphasized upon the need for mission oriented training in peace time to effectively tackle the challenges of future battle field. He appreciated the standard of training displayed by the troops. Earlier on arrival, the Corps Commander was received by the Brigade Commander and given detailed briefing about the exercise.—Online
