President, PM grieved over Turkish air crash

ISLAMABAD—President Pervez Musharraf and caretaker Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro have expressed their shock and grief over the loss of life in the crash of a Turkish airliner. In separate messages the two leaders conveyed their sympathies to the families of those who lost their loved ones, when aeroplane of the Atlasjet crashed near the town of Ispart in central Turkey. President Musharraf in message to his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. “May Almighty Allah rest the souls of the deceased in eternal peace and give strength and fortitude to their near and dear ones to bear this irreparable loss.” Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro in message to his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his deep condolences on the tragedy. “I would also like to convey through this message my deepest commiseration to the families of the victims.”—Agencies
