Pak pavilion attracts visitors at IITF 2007

KARACHI—Pakistan pavilion at Indian trade fair IITF 2007 had attracted huge crowd and remained centre of attraction during 14-day event. This was stated by the chairman Fairs and Exhibition Committee of FPCCI Sheikh Farooq Ahmed on his return from New Delhi here Saturday. He said that Pakistani textile, spices, onyx, marble, cosmetics and food were the big hit at India International Trade Fair (IITF)
which concluded n November 27, 2007. From textile chikan (embroidery) to the kitchen (Bar B Q) the allure of Pakistan never failed to capture the crowd during the entire exhibition, he noted. Sheikh further informed that the potential of Pakistani products was evident from the long queues on Pakistani stalls particularly at the stalls of spa ces, textile and Bar B Q at IITF where the crowd was pouring in to purchase impatiently.—Online
