Naval Chief leaves for Malaysia, Bahrain

ISLAMABAD—Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir Saturday left for an official visit to Malaysia and Bahrain. He was seen off at Islamabad International Airport by Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Asaf Humayun, Ambassador of Bahrain, Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammad Abdul Qadir, Defence Adviser High Commission of Malaysia, Col Roslan Hj Saruan and other senior Pakistan Navy officers. During the visit, Chief of the Naval Staff will hold talks with his counterparts and other senior defence officials and discuss matters of mutual interest. Chief of Staff, Vice Admiral Asaf Humayun would be acting Chief of the Naval Staff in his absence.—Online
