National Youth Camp to promote national integrity

ISLAMABAD—“See Pakistan National Youth Camp” would promote national integration among youth”.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Caretaker Federal Minister for Youth Affairs expressed these views while reviewing the programmes of the Ministry of Youth Affairs here Thursday.
He expressed the desire that youth activities should be given strong impetus.
The camp has started today and will continue till December 3. The 5-days national youth camp will provide opportunity to young females to sit together, share the experience and develop friendship.
For the youth camp, 80 young girls the age group of 15-29years were invited from all the four provinces, AJK, Northern Areas and FATA. The visitors include college students, NGO’s representatives and workers from different organizations from allparts of the country.
Pir Baksh Jandan, Senior Researcher and Programme Coordinator, while briefing about the plans of the tour told this agency that female group will visit various places in the capital includingInternational Islamic University, Faisal Mosque, Lok Virsa, Rawal Lake, Shakar Parian, National Monument and Damn-e- Koh today on thefirst day of the camp.
“It is a unique programme in which the young girlswill get to know their counterparts in various parts ofthe country and they will be able to learn about thecultural norms, thoughts and issues in different environments” he added.
National youth camp will promote friendship and create bonds ofcommunication which they can follow up once they go back from the Youth Camp.
