TCP floats
wheat tender
KARACHI—Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has floated another tender
for the import of 200,000 metric tons of wheat from worldwide sources to
meet domestic demand, officials said here Thursday. The corporation has
asked the suppliers to quote prices for 200,000 MT of wheat from world
sources on C and F Karachi basis. A TCP official said that the bidding
for the tender will be held on December 8, 2007 at corporation’s head
office in Karachi. Both pre-qualified and non pre-qualified foreign
suppliers can participate in these tenders. It may be noted that TCP had
already invited four tenders for the supply of 470,000 MT of wheat and
awarded contract for its supply.—Online |
