Registration, transfer of vehicles through agents banned

RAWALPINDI—Aiming to make ensure the record of registration of vehicles from forging, the ETO Rawalpindi has imposed ban on the registration and transfer of vehicles through agents.
Now the owners of vehicles will be bound to register and transfer their vehicles themselves. ETO Department Motor Branch of Excise and Technician Office Rawalpindi Muhammad Asif told Online that no one would be allowed to register or transfer the vehicle by preparing fake documents.
The ETO categorically stated that strict action would be taken against the Inspector and Clerk involved in the preparation of illegal documents, as banners have been displayed outside Excise Office aiming to create awareness among the owners of the vehicles.—Online
