CDA to rectify streetlights system in Capital

ISLAMABAD—The board of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved recruitment of staff and purchasing of new machinery in order to improve the lighting system in different sector of Capital.
Chairman CDA Kamran Lashari chaired the meeting board meeting. Earlier, the meeting was told that there is dire need to recruit new staff and purchase new machinery to run the new light division in the department.
Upto 50 motorcycles would be purchased to immediately redress the complaint of citizens with regard to streetlights. Five buckets and four trucks would be purchased for the maintenance of streetlights. The meeting was apprised that there are only 22 electricians to carryout repairing work of streetlights in 22 sectors of Federal Capital. After the recruitment, each sector of Federal Capital will have 5 electricians.
