Nawabzada’s sons face to face

MUZAFFARGARH—Seven members of the family of veteran politician late Nawabzada Nasarullah Khan including his sons are gearing up to fight Jan-8 elections against each other from different platforms.
Eldest son, the PDP head Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmad Khan, PML SVP Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmad Khan and Nawabzada Israr Ahmad Khan will contest election from NA-178 constituency. In pp-258, Nawabzada Bilal Ahmad Khan and Nawabzada Sultan Ahmad Khan are facing each other while Nawabzada Muhammad Ahmad Khan will contest from pp-257. Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmad and Nawabzada Shahid Ahmad Khan have also filed papers for pp-256.
Most number of candidates from a family, ten candidates, came from the family of former Punjab Governor Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar. Malik Ghulam Arbi Khar and Malik Abdul Khaliq Khar are aspirants for a seat in NA-178 constituency, Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar (junior) from pp-254, Malik Naeem Khar from NA-176, Malik Ghulam Muhammad Jahanzeb Khar from pp-251.—Agencies
