Memon briefs Asian envoys about domestic political situation

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Nisar A. Memon Tuesday briefed the members of the Group of Resident Asian Heads of Missions in Islamabad on the current political situation in Pakistan.
The briefing was held at a luncheon meeting co-hosted by Chinese ambassador Luo Zhaohui and Iranian ambassador Mashaallah Shakeri. Pursuing recent political developments of Pakistan closely, all the members of the group strongly believed that internal matters should be settled by the Pakistani government and people themselves. They were convinced that a stable and prosperous Pakistan is in the interest of regional peace and development. The members of the Group of Resident Asian Heads of Missions in Islamabad were confident that the Pakistani government and people are capable of dealing with their own affairs properly. They wished Pakistan government and people success in all their endeavors.
