36 Indian fishermen sent to jail

KARACHI—Judicial Magistrate, West, IV on Tuesday sent 36 Indian fishermen who were arrested for illegally fishing in Pakistani waters to Landhi Prison. A police official of Docks Police Station said that they were presented in the court for judicial custody. He said Maritime Security Agency (MSA) handed over Indian fishermen to Dock Police on Sunday after they were arrested in a joint operation for illegally fishing about 25 nautical miles inside Pakistan territorial waters.—Online
