Homage paid to Maulana Zafar Ali Khan

ISLAMABAD—The true leaders are the makers of history and Maulana Zafar Ali Khan is one of among those leaders, said caretaker Federal Health Minister Ejaz Rahim while chairing a meeting to pay homage to the leader of independence movement on the death anniversary of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan here on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Centre for Historical Research of the Quid-e-Azam University here on Tuesday. While lauding the services of the great journalist, poet and leader of Pakistan Movement, the Minister said that true leaders are makers of history and great Zafar Ali Khan was among those leaders who made the history. They created goals based on their value-judgment and turned the wheel of history with the power of their beliefs and commitment. Maulana Zafar Ali Khan’s voice echoes from Khyber to Karachi, he added.—Online
