Low intensity earthquake jolts Indian capital

New Delhi—A low -intensity earthquake jolted Indian capital and surrounding areas in the wee hours of Monday forcing the people to rush out of their homes. The Met department describing the quake as “light intensity”, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, said its epicentre was in Delhi-Haryana border. The earthquake also rocked neighbouring areas of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana at 4.42 am today.—Agencies
