India breaches truce in Poonch

ISLAMABAD—Violating cease-fire at Poonch Sector, Line of control, Indian forces on Monday started unprovoked fringing at Pakistani Check Post which was positively and heavily retaliated by Pakistani forces.
Talking to Online, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj. Gen.
Waheed Arshad rejected the claims of Indian forces that Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire agreement.
He categorically stated that the Indian forces violated the ceasefire accord by starting unprovoked firing at Check Post of Pakistani forces at Poonch Sector.
The Jawan of Pakistani army responded positively, he maintained.
Pakistani forces respects ceasefire agreement with India, DG ISPR said, adding that, whenever Indian forces violate agreement then responded by Pakistani forces.
Spokesman Pakistan Army added he cannot say anything about the claim of Indian forces that their soldier lost his life during retaliatory action of Pakistani forces.
Soon after the incident, flag meeting comprised on officers of Pakistan and Indian forces was held at line of control to maintain ceasefire and stop such type of incident in future, Arshad pointed out—Online
