President may doff Uniform on 29th

LAHORE—Attorney General (AG) Malik Qayyum has said president general Pervez Musharraf will doff uniform on November 29 and take the oath as civilian president, says a private TV channel here Sunday.
He told president general Pervez Musharraf will take the oath as civilian president for next five years term on Thursday, November, 29 and relinquish the post of army chief.
Following the announcement of verdict by Supreme Court on acceptance of president nomination papers the Election Commission has issued notification on success of general Pervez Musharraf, he indicated. Supreme court had issued stay order on October, 5 that no notification would be issued unless the SC decision comes on the constitutional petitions in presidential election case. He confirmed the last phase of presidential election would be completed on November, 29.—Agencies
