4 miscreants arrested in Swat

ISLAMABAD—Security forces have arrested four miscreants in Fazagat area of Swat on Friday when they were trying to flee the area disguised as women, an ISRR official said .
Determined to uproot the menace of terrorism and extremism from the society, Caretaker Interior Minister Hamid Nawaz Khan Friday said general elections would be held in Swat in accordance with the schedule. Talking to PTV the Minister said effective steps would be taken soon to restore peace in Swat, which would ensure the possibility of holding elections in the area. He said no doubt there are problems as people of this region are terrified by the militants, but effective steps’ law and order situation would normalise.—Agencies
