Purchase new machinery for disaster management approved

ISLAMABAD—In order to revamp disaster management, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved PC-1 to purchase new heavy machinery with total cost of Rs. 200 million.
The present bulldozers and machinery was purchased in 1982, 27 years ago. Four new bulldozers will be purchased and a troller which can carry bulldozer, according to PC-I. The CDA will also purchase vehicle to carry Tar and two road rollers for carpeting. The development department of CDA has also decided to purchase a Crane. The tender in this respect have been invited under the supervision of Member Engineering Moin-u-Din Kaka Khail at conference room headquarter CDA. A special committee under supervision of the member engineering has been constituted for scrutiny of firms.—Online
