Ejaz rules out contesting election against Rasheed

ISLAMABAD—Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Ejaz-ul-Haq has said on Friday that PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif can return to Pakistan any time because it is his own homeland. PML-Q would contest the general elections on its own platform.
While talking to news men in PML house here on Friday, he said that the reputation of PML-Q will not be affected by the return of PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif adding that we are fully united under the leadership of Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain and no difference prevails among the rows of Muslim leaguers. He categorically rejected this that he has announced to contest election against Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed from the constituencies of NA-55, and NA-56 adding that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed should think about his own constituencies.
Replying to a question, he ruled out the political alliance with PML-N in forthcoming general elections, however, PML-Q would contest the general election on its own platform and get the landslide victory on the basis of its performance.—Online
