Punjab lawyers call for strike today

ISLAMABAD—Punjab Bar Council would observe a complete strike Friday against the imposition of emergency and reinstatements of Supreme Court Judges Secretary General Islamabad District Bar Association Mohammad Tayyab Advocate talking to reporters informed that on the call of Punjab Bar Council lawyers fraternity through out the Province would observe a complete strike and would boycott court proceedings on Friday.
He added that lawyers are struggling for the restoration of judiciary and they will go on strike Friday and lawyers will not be present in courts. He said that lawyers are united and will follow the advice from Punjab Bar Council.—Online
