Mystery surrounds Balach Mari’s killing

QUETTA—Former Member National Assembly and Proclaimed Offender Nawabzada Balach Mari has been killed mysterious circumstances and conflicting reports quoted different reasons for his killing.
The sources of Balochistan Liberation Army said that renegade Baloch leaders was killed in operation of security forces against militants. However, other reports from confirmed from Afghanistan told that Balach Marri was killed in Afghanistan at some unidentified location by Baloch militant leader Baramdagh Bugti, grand son of Late Nawab Bugti, for internal rift brewing between them since long.
Talking to reporters from undisclosed location Spokesman Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) Barak Baloch claimed that Nawabzada Balach Mari was killed during attack of security forces. However, he evaded to tell about the location where Nawabzada Balach Mari was killed. State authorities confirmed the news when contacted as saying that he was killed in vicinity of Afghanistan during an internal clash in the militant group.He was the leader of BLA and son of Kher Buksh Mari.
The initial investigations of the rocket attack on President Gen. Pervaiz Musharraf during his visit of Kohlo Balochistan revealed that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) had links with Al-Qaeeda outfit.
The weapons being used by the Balochistan Liberation Army are similar to those being used by Taliban and Al-Qaeda forces in Afghanistan, according to well-placed sources. “Total strength of the Liberation Army is around 100,000 people, most of them are out of the country and the young people working for this Army are getting a salary of around Rs. 8,000 each and working with ranks like major and colonel”, the sources added.
