Operation against beggars continues

RAWALPINDI—In an on-going campaign against the beggars, the Police have arrested a number of beggars from different areas of the cantonment and the city and legal action has been started against the arrested beggars.
The Police have started the operation on the special instructions of City Police Officer Saud Aziz and SSP Operation Yasin Farooqi directed SHOs’ of all the Police Stations regarding the starting of operation.
The Police during the operation arrested beggars from RA bazaar and other areas. The arrested beggars belonging from Multan, Jhelum, Lahore, Balochistan, Peshawar, Gujranwala, Dera Ghazi Khan, Islamabad and District Rawalpindi.—Agencies
