Caretaker PM meets Pir Pagaro

KARACHI—Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro has said that the caretaker government would make utmost efforts to create conducive environment for free, fair and transparent general elections. He was talking to Pir Saheb Pagaro at Kingri House here on Saturday night.
The Caretaker Prime Minister further stated that the efforts of the government would remain focused on creating a level playing field for all political parties to contest the general elections. He said the priority area would, however, be to ensure peace and security so that people can use their right of vote.
Mohammadmian Soomro said reconciliation and confidence building measures aimed to safeguard the interest of all political elements in the political process, will continue. Pir Saheb Pagaro congratulated Mohammadmian Soomro on the assumption of the office of Prime Minister. Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Dr. Arbab Ghulam Rahim were also present on the occasion.
