800 English teachers upgraded

ISLAMABAD—The Education Department Rawalpindi has issued up-gradation letter to 800 English Teachers working in different primary schools of District Rawalpindi and deputed them in the Middle and High Schools.
It is noted that former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had announced a incentive package for teachers of all over the province in last September, under which the Education Department Rawalpindi was directed to appoint Graduate English Teachers in Middle and High Schools.
The teachers to be deputed in Middle and High Schools including 500 female and 300 male English Teachers. It is noted that the appointment of English Teachers in the Middle and High Schools would affect the education system in the primary schools as in a number of primary schools, only one English Teacher was appointed.—Online
