PML starts campaign to make Elahi next PM

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) has formally started advertisement campaign to make Chaudhry Pervez Elahi next Prime Minister after upcoming general elections.
President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Secretary General Mushahid Hussain and Central leadership of the Party have unanimously decided not to support anyone instead of Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for the slot of Prime Ministership after elections, sources told Online on Sunday.
The staff of PML House Islamabad and all the four Provincial Headquarters have been asked to distribute advertisement pamphlets among the general public in their respective vicinities.
In order to make successful the ad camping, the central leadership of PML has also decided to hire services of low-grade employees working in different state departments throughout the Punjab. The employees will go door to door in all Tehsils and districts around the Province to deliver advertisement pamphlets.
Hoardings and banners carrying words “Chaudhry Pervez Elahi next Prime Minister of the country” will also be installed. President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has directed the central leadership of the party to remove all hurdles being created on the way to make Chaudhry Pervez Elahi next Prime Minister.
The candidates who are willing to take party tickets have been asked initially to take oath that they will accept Chaudhry Pervez Elahi next Prime Minister, sources maintained.
PML-Q has received more than 2970 applications for the general and reserved seats of National Assembly for the upcoming general election. Besides, the candidates have also started using references in order to obtained tickets.
Source told Online that number of the applications for the issuance of party tickets on women and minorities seats have been exceeded from 1200. Source further said that PML-Q intends to awards party tickets to the former Federal Ministers and former MNAs in view of their performance.
