PBC declares Media solidarity day

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Bar Council has declared Monday Nov 19 as a day of solidarity with the media and calls upon all lawyers in Pakistan to hold functions in honour of media men and journalists in the Bar Associations buildings and join them in their protest meetings and rallies. The Council wants the lawyer fraternity to stand firm, hand in hand, with their brethren in media in the cause for free media and freedom of information.—Online
