Dengue fever,
health ministry put hospitals on high alert
ISLAMABAD—Health ministry has put hospitals of Federal Capital red alert
due to threat of dengue fever. As many as 75 suspected patients with
sings and symptoms similar to dengue fever have been admitted in
different hospitals of Federal Capital.
The administration of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and
Federal Government Services Hospital received a letter from health
ministry directing them to finalize arrangements in view of the rapidly
increasing cases reported recently, sources told Online. The
administrations of two hospitals have been asked to take precautionary
measures to meet the possible threat of dengue fever.—Agencies
