Total marks of matric exams increased upto 1050
RAWALPINDI—The total marks of matriculation examinations have been
INCREASED from 850 to 1050, it has been learnt.
The students of ninth class will have the paper of Urdu, English,
Islamiyat (compulsory) and mathematics subjects of 75 marks while
Physics, Biology and Chemistry of 60 marks, according to notification
received by Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE).
Punjab education department released the notification. Likewise, the
students of 10th class will give paper of Urdu, English, Social study
and mathematics subjects having 75 marks, Physics 40 marks while biology
and chemistry of 60 marks.
The students of science group along with computer science ninth class
will have paper of Urdu, English, Islamiyat and mathematics of 75 marks,
computer science 50 marks while chemistry and physics 75 marks.
Similarly in 10th class computer science group, the papers of Urdu,
English and Social Study carrying 75 marks and physics carrying 60 marks
while computer science carrying 50 marks will be issued to students. The
practical examinations of computer science have been enhanced upto 50
marks and physics upto 30 marks.—Online |
