To control corruption all departments should be computerized, says Nasir

Islamabad—The President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Nasir Khan highly appreciated the extension in Abdullah Yusuf's tenure as Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
He said that Abdullah Yusuf has done a great job by making taxation system simple and easy for taxpayers and his stay in the office will make the system more acceptable for business community. He said extension in his tenure for three years will help promote the culture of continuity and consistency in Government policies. President said that business community is happy over his extension and they as usual will keep on interacting with him without any restriction
Nasir Khan said that business community of Islamabad believe that revenue will keep on increasing due to Chairman encouraging policies and traders and industrialists will play their due rule in achieving any revenue collection target. The introductions of new amendment in the FBR have provided much better facilities to the taxpayers.
President Nasir Khan further said that computerization of tax department have proved to helpful to decrease corruption in tax department.
President ICCI also demanded for the computerization of every department in the country to abolish the corruption. He mentioned about the reports of International Transparency Organization report that corruption has decreased from computerized institutions like FBR, NADRA, NHA, Motorway police. He stressed for the computerization of other departments to make state corruption free. First of all Government should take steps to Computerized the Revenue department, WAPDA, Education institutes.
