Credit goes to Musharraf for completion of 5 years term: Rashid

RAWALPINDI—Minister for railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said national assembly has completed its five years term for the first time in the history of the country and all credit goes to President General Pervez Musharraf on this count.
He said this in his farewell address to railway employees on his arrival from Lahore here at railway station Thursday.
He held the pivotal role played by its employees in the development of railways could not be overlooked. The employees put into operation over 20 new trains during the last one and a half year and they not only contributed into increasing the number of passengers but also earned profit of billion of rupees, he added.
This is last day of my office and I have got released Rs 30 million for visiting room of Rawalpindi railway station today”, he told. Development projects will be completed out of this fund for benefit of the passengers, he added.
He reiterated elections would take place as per schedule. Country is passing through critical phase of its history and all the forces have to work together for the development and prosperity of the country, he stressed.
