ICCI to educate business community with collaboration of IDO: Nasir

ISLAMABAD—Consultant of International Donors Organization and former
commissioner Income Tax Mohammad Saeed informed the President Islamabad
Chamber of Commerce & Industry Nasir Khan, Vice President Mohammad
Hussain and Secretary General Majid Shabbir in a meeting said that that
International Donors Organizations want to improve the business
activities in Pakistan.
Islamabad Chamber being a capital chamber can play a pivotal role for
the betterment of business community. He added that international
donor’s organizations want to collaborate with Chambers in various
sectors; particularly for increasing the industrial development. Donors
Organizations would like to train the people in information technology
and they want to organize the classes in Chambers. Donors will provide
technical assistance, financing for initiatives related to
entrepreneurship, with research institutes and universities contribution
to creating a knowledge-driven economy.
Mohammad Saeed further said that women entrepreneurs should come forward
to improve their skills. He stressed for the establishment of
International standards laboratories for testing production of
industries. Pakistan is loosing international market rapidly due to lack
of quality products. President ICCI Nasir Khan said that ICCI will do
every thing for the betterment of business community. He added that we
want Pakistan to be at the leading edge and adjust the world of
tomorrow.
He assured that ICCI will organize classes for all business community of
Islamabad and as well as collect the data of all importers and exporters
of Pakistan. ICCI will send the employees of industries abroad to get
the technical education.
President ICCI Nasir Khan said that Islamabad Chamber will work for the
increasing the industrial production. It will also work for the
provision of latest machinery and its knowledge.
President ICCI showed his great concern that lot of Donors Organization
spending million dollars for the betterment of people but we are failed
to see the fruitful results in society. |
