Division of Edu Dept on basis town stopped

RAWALPINDI—The City District Government have accepted the demands of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) regarding suspension of the notification of division of Education Department on the basis of towns and creation of 97 new vacancies in the offices of Education Department in all over the district.
These decisions were taken during the meeting held here between district Nazim Raja Javed Ikhlas and a delegation of APCA. The APCA delegation led by Vice Prescient of Clerks Association Punjab, Shahzad Kiani while the District President Chaudhary Mubashar Ahmed was also induced in the delegation.
The City District Government also accepted the demands of stopping the staff of office of Education Department Potohar Town from functioning on temporarily basis due to which the appointment of the head of this department has been stopped. It has been decided to seek permission from the Ministry of Education Department Punjab in this regard.
The delegation opined that the established of Potohar Town Education Department was not a right decision as employees with the posts have been deputed in this department, which was affecting the functioning of other departments.—Agencies
