Onaza Ehsan restored as MNA

ISLAMABAD—The Election Commission of Pakistan Wednesday restored the membership of Onaza Ehsan as MNA after the law-maker submitted the statement of assets and liabilities with the Commission. Earlier, she ceased to function as member of the National Assembly for not submitting the statement of assets and liabilities with the Commission by the due date. According to Election Commission of Pakistan, sub-section 42A of the Representation of the People Act 1976 provides that every member of an Assembly, on a prescribed form, submit a statement of assets and liabilities of her own, her spouse and dependents annually to the Commission by September 13 each year.—Agencies
