Militants claim seizure of five tehsils in Swat

SWAT—The disciples of Maulana Fazl Ullah, famously known as Mullah Radio, on Wednesday claimed to have seize five tehsils of the scenic valley of Swat.
According to sources, Fazl Ullah’s followers said that they have complete control in Mata, Khawaza Khela, Kabal, Charbagh and Kalam adding that “Amir and Governors have been deputed in these areas.” Police station of Madyen had also been claimed for by the local militants who demanded the government to enforce Shariah in the district. Besides hoisting white flags on government buildings, the militants also claimed to have seized the vehicles used by government officials.
The militants claimed that they are patrolling in their controlled areas in the vehicles, they have seized from government servants and NGOs. They also claimed to have setup check posts in Imam Dehri, Chota Kalam, Shakar Dara, Peer Kaley, Braim Pul and Charbagh.
