New Industrial Estate to be set up in I-17 sector: Lashari

ISLAMABAD—Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Kanran Lashari on Tuesday assured the members of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) that a new Industrial Estate will be established here in the I-17 sector.
" The CDA will acquire the land in next nine months for Industrial Estate", he told a delegation of ICCI which called on him here today. In the meeting the CDA extended the lease agreement of all commercial centers of Islamabad and appreciated the role of business community of the expansion of Capital.
The ICCI delegation led by President Islamabad chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nasir Khan met. The ICCI delegation discussed with the Chairman CDA, the problems being faced of business community.
In the meeting it was decided that plots for business community centers and dispensary will be provided in I-10 sector very soon. President ICCI Nasir Khan also demanded for the provision of plots for the establishment of separate school for business community children.
Member Estate Brig Asad Muneer said that proposal will be seen positively in upcoming board meeting. Delegation also demand for the up gradation of roads of industrial estate.
The CDA also assured that construction and repairing of roads will be start very soon. The Member Estate further said that new by laws construction rules will be implemented with the coordination of Islamabad Chamber.
He added that more meetings will be held continuously to resolve the problems. The President stressed to resolve the problems of business community and said that decision for new industrial estate establishment will enhance business activities of capital.
In the meeting participants were Muwar Moughal, Zubair Ahmed Malik, Khalid Javeed, Tariq Sadiq, Aijaz Abbassi and Raja Inayat met the member designing and planning Brig Nusrat Javeed.
