‘AJK Govt finalizes policy for uplift of roads’

ISLAMABAD—Acting President of AJK Shah Ghulam Qadir has said that AJK state is the biggest tourist spot of Asia and government of AJK is formulating a policy to rebuild and improve all inter links roads of districts and other roads.
While addressing to different meetings, he said that every facility would be available in the presence of roads including schools, universities and industries. He urged the need to determine the priorities of welfare projects at union council level to motivate the government which it would complete in phase-wise.
He resolved to solve the basic problems of the people at every cost because they supported the Muslim Conference. He maintained that Les dina, Neelum, Pir Zaisi, Toli Pir, Bin Jhonsa are the most popular tourist spots and international tourists can be attracted after promoting and developing these spots. He said that promotion of tourism could change the fate of the people of state and bring prosperity in AJK. He announced to set up basic health unit (BHU) with the provision of facilities including building, doctors, paramedical staff and other facilities from his personal funds in case of selecting the land for this purpose.—Agencies
