Foundation stone of underpass laid down

HAFIZABAD—Ch.Mehdi Hassan Bhatti, MNA here on Sunday laid the foundation stone of an under-pass on northern side of Railways station. The project would cost Rs 170 million and this amount has been provided by provincial government. MNA told the gathering on this occasion that not only an under-pass but the approach roads from Hospital to General Bus Stand would be widened. He said another underpass on the Eastern Side would also be constructed to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city area. Later, he also laid foundation stone of construction (RCC) of Hafizabad-Ramke Road. Provincial Minister for Culture, Ch.Shoukat Ali Bhatti and District Nazim were also present on the occasion.—Agencies
