Malaysian Ulema, intellectuals to review Islamic laws

ISLAMABAD—A delegation of Malaysia’s International Islamic University comprising Ulema and intellectuals is arriving here on a three-day visit. The delegation, on the invitation of Council of Islamic Idealogy (CII), will review Islamic Legislation and activities in Islamic Studies and visit Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Federal Shariat Court and International Islamic University here. Dean, Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization, Malaysia will deliver a lecture on “Shariah in Malaysia” in the Council of Islamic Ideology during the visit. It may be mentioned here that the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has started a programme to discuss problems being faced by Muslim countries and societies in implementation of Islamic Law during the modern era.—Online
