More funds to be released for mega
projects: Basharat
RAWALPINDI—More developmental funds would be provided to speed up work
on mega projects initiated for the welfare of the common people in
different localities. Provincial Minister for Law and Local Government
Muhammad Basharat Raja stated here Monday while addressing to Nazims
belonging to Friends Group.
He said that government fulfilled all the promises of public welfare and
released funds for ongoing developmental projects, adding that these
projects would be completed in a stipulated time. He urged the members
of local governments for proper planing. He urged upon them to speed up
their campaign for upcoming elections adding that people must vote to
the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) to maintain the pace of
development projects in the country.
He said that Rs.30 million would be provided for clean drinking water in
different union councils adding that the government would set-up one
tube well in every union council of Nazims belonging to Friend’s Group.
Now it is the duty of the people to give them their reward and elect
those people who provided them basic facilities, he said adding that
they must reject the people who plunder national wealth. Nazim Pothar
Town Hamad Nawaz Raja and President Pakistan Muslim league District
Rawalpindi was also present on the occasion.—Online
