Afghanistan to attend SAARC Interior Ministers’ moot

ISLAMABAD—The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) has decided also to involve Afghanistan in its efforts for curbing terrorism, extremism and human smuggling.
This was informed by sources in the federal Interior ministry, adding that the association has decided to hold a meeting the Interior Ministers of the member countries in Islamabad next year, in which Afghanistan will be invited to attend.
The sources said that the decision to this effect was taken at the recent meeting of the association in New Delhi.—Agencies
