Canteens in Katachari finned Rs20,000

RAWALPINDI—Over selling of substandard food items and poor cleanse condition, the two canteens in the District Katachari have been fined of Rs. 20,000.
According to the details, the action has been taken after receiving a number of complaints regarding the poor condition of the canteens from the lawyers and people to members of Food Committee of the District Bar.
The Food Committee has also warned to the owners of the canteens of canceling the contract in case of receive complaints again. It is noted that the lawyers and the people visiting the District Katachari complained that the Canteens are involved in selling substandard food items and the poor cleanse condition around the canteens also causing epidemics.—Online
