3 rockets hit Peshawar city

PESHAWAR—Unidentified persons on Sunday fired three rockets in Peshawar Cantt, however, no loss of life was reported during the incident.
According to the details, a rocket landed at the floor of upper storey of house of leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Bashir Belor near US consulate at 3:45 am. Bashir Belor and his family members were present in the house but they were unhurt.
The second rocket landed at RA Bazaar due to which pole of electricity was damaged. It is pertinent to mention that the offices of the sensitive organization are located in the area.
The third rocket landed at barren land in the area of Defence Colony Matni. Member of Bomb Disposal Squad, Hakeem Khan said that the Chinese made rockets have the range of eight to thirteen Kilometers.
Meanwhile, the Police officials have feared that the rockets were fired from the direction of Mandi Maweshian and Pehalwan Bridge. The police after registered the case under Anti Terrorism Act started investigation.
