President, PM congratulate China

ISLAMABAD—President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, in separate congratulatory messages to their Chinese Counterparts on the successful launch of first Chinese Lunar Orbit, congratulated Chinese people on this glorious moment of pride.
According to an issued press release, President Gen Pervez Musharraf said that launching is an outstanding example of China’s economic and technological modernization, a goal that China has pursued with admirable success since 1979. In his message, he contended the people of Pakistan share this moment of happiness with our Chinese friends.
While PM Shaukaz Aziz added it is indeed a matter of great pleasure to witness the achievements of the Chinese scientists for their endeavours into the space field. The launching of the lunar orbiter is a testimony to technological advancement and modernization achieved by China under its wise leadership, prime minister says. “I would like to avail this opportunity to wish the Chinese scientists involved in this project every success in their future endeavours”, PM added.—Agencies
