British Air Force chief visits PAF headquarters

ISLAMABAD—Chief of the Air Staff British Royal Air Force Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Torpy visited Air Headquarters here Friday.
On arrival at Air Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force presented him the Guard of Honour.
After reviewing the Guard of Honour, he was introduced to Principal Staff Officers of Pakistan Air Force.
The distinguished guest also paid homage to the martyrs of PAF by laying wreath on Martyrs’ Monument at Air Headquarters Islamabad.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Glenn Torpy, also called on Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mehmood Ahmed, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, in his office.
Both the Air Chiefs remained together for some time and discussed matters of professional interest.
The visiting delegation of Royal Air Force also attended a briefing at Air Headquarters on the organization, role and functioning of Pakistan Air Force.—DPR(Air)
